Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service are delighted to announce Glynn Luznyj as its new Deputy Chief Fire Officer.
Glynn takes up his new role on 6 December 2021 after a 25-year career, starting as a firefighter at Newcastle Fire Station in 1996 and spending the majority of the next ten years stationed in the northern area of Staffordshire as a firefighter and in other firefighting roles.
In 2007, he was promoted to Station Manager and went on to become the Area Commander for Stoke-on-Trent.
He became a director as part of the Principal Officer team in 2015.
Speaking of his new role, Glynn said: “Having lived in Staffordshire all my life, I’m honoured to be appointed as Deputy Chief Fire Officer for Staffordshire and I’m looking forward to both the challenges and the opportunities that this role will bring. We have a fantastic service that is delivered by some amazing people and ensuring their wellbeing is a key priority for me.”
