Everyone in the Eccleshall area is warmly invited to a special community service to commemorate the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Sunday 18th September at 4pm at Holy Trinity, Eccleshall.
We would be delighted if representatives from local organisations and community groups would join us, along with children and families and people of all faiths and none to mark the passing of our Queen.
“We feel it is right to offer this beautiful church of Holy Trinity as somewhere the whole community can come together to honour the Queen’s life of duty, devotion and service,” said Revd Alison Thomas, Interim Minister of Eccleshall and Slindon. Everyone in the local community is most welcome to join us at this Commemoration Service, whether or not they are usually churchgoers.”
Holy Trinity Church is also open every day from 10am to 5pm for visitors who would like to sign the Book of Condolence for Her Majesty. Flowers may also be laid by the War Memorial.
